PRESCHOOL STEAM CURRICULUM
May - Jul 2018

OBJECTIVE
To help build the STEAM curriculum for United South End Settlements' Children's Art Center based on my background in engineering- to design and lead weekly STEAM projects for three classes of 7-8 students each over the summer.
SKILLS SNAPSHOT
STEM CURRICULUM RESEARCH
TIME MANAGEMENT
LEADERSHIP
CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT
RESULTS
I researched and designed weekly STEAM activities for three months. In class, I set up each activity and led the class in a demonstration and hands-on exploration time. The Doodle-bots in particular were fan favorites! Ultimately, I served as USES' primary resource for STEAM education, and the STEAM curriculum I created prepared the program for a successful second year.
